Born Oct. 14, 1942, in New York, he was the son of the late Ruth M. Cohen and Joseph Schwartz. He was the husband of Diana "Dee" M. Schwartz, his wife of 34 years.

He had served in the Army in Vietnam and had worked in shoe sales. His death believed the result of Agent Orange.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Geoffrey B. and Rebecca Schwartz.

Funeral services and interment will be private. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are by Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
