Mary Evelyn Parks Alsbrook, 64, of Little Rock died Sunday, August 5, 2007. She was born November 30, 1942 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a daughter of the late William Tillman Parks and Louise Neal Parks Kent. A 1960 graduate of Hall High School, she worked for McClain Trucking and ABF for many years.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Wayne Kent.

She is survived by her loving husband, James B. “Jim” Alsbrook, Jr.; her mother, Louise Kent; two sons, James B. Alsbrook III and his wife Christine, and Chris Alsbrook; a sister, Sue Oldman and her husband, Danny; and five grandchildren, Brett, Austin, Brian, Amber, and Kaitlyn, all of Little Rock.

The family would like to thank Baptist Home Health for the loving care she was given by them. Special thanks to her caregivers, Linda Caudle, Shawn Adams, Dr. Farmer, Dr. Boop, Dr. Hardin, and all the others that cared for Mary.

The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
