Edmund Dale Leigh was born November 22, 1942 to William W. and Edith Dale Leigh.

He attended Harding College and the University of Pennsylvania where he received a degree from the Wharton School of Finance. He received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was a CPA and owned a multistate chain of hair salons.

He is survived by his wife Harriette R. Leigh of Norman, a son David Hoops Leigh of Moore, Oklahoma, and 4 adopted daughters.

The funeral will be held at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church.
