I am happy to be on our website, managed by the wizard of all wizards, Raymond Merritt. Thanks for continuing to keep this going, Raymond...

I wanted to let you know about an event held on Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Ron Robinson Theatre.

Sandra Hubbard's 1997 film The Giants Wore White Gloves: The Women's Emergency Committee to Open Our Schools will screen at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ron Robinson Theater in downtown Little Rock's River Market. Hubbard -- who produced, wrote and directed -- will hold a question-and-answer session afterward.
It's part of the Clinton School Speaker Series that's co-sponsored by the Central Arkansas Library System's Butler Center, the theater, and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. While all these events are free, you might want to reserve your seats by emailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or by calling (501) 683-5239.

(96) Such a great class website. I know how much hard work went into it and appreciate the fine job it is. Thanks for bringing it to all of us that went thru those years and of course those of us that came after.
Thank you agian.
I hope that some of your class recognizes the parents of many classmates in this Razorback Game Day photo. I know the Adamsons, Phelps, had classmates in your class but not sure of the others.

I would like to echo the sentiments of all, when I say what a great job the committee did putting together the reunion. Thanks.
In addition, I would ask that everyone change my email address in the directory, to sdw2@ipa.net. I doubt the one printed would be the choice of anyone, unless they were pig farmers in Iowa. Thanks.

(94) A special thanks to Mark Spradley who penned the graceful and warm-hearted letter about who we were, what we did, and how we became who we are today. Thanks, Mark

This morning I was in Little Rock and late this afternoon I was back in the national capital region. On leaving National Airport at 5pm I was immediately immersed in the dreadful rush-hour traffic of the area and thought what a contrast to the (relatively) easy to navigate traffic of Little Rock. But I'm not writing to comment on the traffic but to say what a wonderful reunion it was. Since these things don't happen by accident I wanted to recognize and thank the members of the reunion committee for their inspired planning and perfect execution of the plan. On a personal level, I would only add that I enjoyed immensely talking to so many people that I hadn't seen or even heard about for years, for decades in several instances, and getting caught up with them. Maria was able to meet individuals she had heard me talk about for many years--she had a very good time too. I might add that those who have passed on and those who were absent were thought about and talked about. Thank you committee, thank you for caring enough to do the very best. (One caveat: Raymond Ward, despite signs of emerging maturity, is not included in these remarks. However, if he makes a killing in selling copies of a certain tee-shirt, and shares the proceeds with yours truly, all will be forgiven and he will be brought into the fold). A wonderful time. Thanks guys and dolls, thanks all. John

I think the only reunion I may have missed was the tenth one when I was in the maternity ward having a baby, but this was absolutely the best of the best. There are so many I didn't get to visit with!--maybe if we added a couple more days to the 55th reunion? No, Sandy, Libby, and Dotty, you may NOT have a heart attack at my suggestion. Great job everyone!! smile

A Big Thanks to Johnny Roberts and all the guys! We have always loved your music but this time was really precious because for a few hours we felt young again and these days that doesn't happen very often.
Another Big Thanks to the Planning Committee! Your hard work did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

What a remarkably fun and meaningful time for all of us, I do believe. I can't quit thinking about the fun and closeness we all have. Thanks to those who had to travel in from far away. I know we will continue to care about each other even more as the years pass. Loveyabye, s

This was my first reunion and I am SO GLAD I ATTENDED. Exceeded all my expectations and I hope those who were unable to attend this time will give serious consideration to attend future reunions. I plan to!!!
Fabulous entertainment Saturday evening and SO NICE to see friends, a few of who were classmates as far back as Forest Park Elementary School. This website continuance is a LIVING MEMORIAL to our group and I hope many will support it going forward by contacting Ray Merritt

What a great weekend! Some of you even married great spouses to widen the circle! Enjoyed all those interesting conversations. Seems like everyone has passed the age where they thought they needed to be important (though a surprising number of you actually were!), and it makes you all the more interesting. The worker bees did a great job. Wish we could get together more often. Thanks for the memories.

What an incredible weekend! It was great to see so many of us at the reunion. And as Linda Collins said, with most of our parents gone, the reunion brings back so many memories of a happier, simple time in life. The best part of all for me was renewing friendships that went back 56 years ago! Thanks so much to Libby and all the others who got the ball rolling and made this one the best of all! smile

What a FABULOUS weekend for us. Many of you are traveling home today, but know that those of us who have been planning and eagerly awaiting this great event are so thrilled to have had such a great turnout. The memories flood back and the faces so dear to us then and now, bring joy to us. With most of our parents gone, it comforts me to be in the presence of those who knew us before we were fully molded into the aging adults we have become and share the paths we followed along the way. We look forward to seeing all of you again and again. wink
